Who can be a consignor? How do I sign up?
Anyone! Swing by the store anytime with your EXCELLENT CONDITION pre-loved items.
What can I consign?
We accept women's clothing, shoes and formals, baby/kid's clothing/shoes that are in season. We also consign handbags, wallets, purses, jewelry, and other items. Name brand items in excellent condition and currently in-style are more likely to be accepted. We do accept vintage items like: Coach & Dooney and Bourke. How does the drop-off process work?
If it's your first time dropping off items for consignment, we set you up an account in our system. (So easy!) We will then go through your items with you and return anything we cannot keep. Don't be offended if we can't keep something! We are constantly monitoring what's in season, what people are buying, and what people are not buying.
What do you do with my clothes/items after I leave them?
After you drop-off items, we will tag and price everything. All your items get tagged with a unique barcode that will apply your portion of the sale to your account.
What price are you putting on my items?
I always say I try to do a little tap dance between earning the consignor (and the shop!) the most money possible while still maintaining a competitive enough price that my inventory moves. For regular clothing, I will price things myself. For formals and designer items, the consignor is welcome to have input. I want you to be comfortable with what the item is selling for and what you'll earn if it sells.
How much will I make?
The consignor makes 40-80% depending on the sale price of the item.
-Regular clothing (less than $50) earns 40%.
-Clothing, Bags and Formals ($50 and up) earns 50%
-Local Artisans/Vendors can earn 70%
-High-end Bags and other items like Louis Vuitton, Louboutin, Chanel, Gucci (price over $400) earn 60-80% based on the price.
How do I get paid?
Your consignor account earns money the moment your item sells. Once you have earned money, you can shop in-store with your consignor credit or request a paper check. We do not give out cash or direct deposits at this time.
What happens if my item doesn't sell?
The consignment period for all items (except formals/high-end bags) is 90 days. Our software is set to automatically roll items into store inventory after 97 days- that's the 90 day consignment period plus a 7 day grace period for pick-up. If you do not contact the store to pick-up your items before the 97th day, the items become store inventory. From that point we will clearance them out or donate them. We have a lot of inventory, so it's the consignor's responsibility to request a pick-up of items!
What about my formal?
Formals earn 50% of the sale price. Formals do not roll into store inventory and will not be clearanced or donated. If a formal has been in the shop for over a year, we will contact you to pick it up.
What about a Louis Vuitton or Gucci Bag?
These high-end designer items earn 80% of the sale price. We ask that you bring the original receipt and box if you have them. If you do not have the original receipt or a third-party authentication certificate, we will buy apply for one on your behalf. Authentication is $40 and we take it out of your 80% earnings on the item.
We will work together to settle on a sale price you are comfortable with. These items do not roll into store inventory and will never be clearanced or donated.

Things we want RIGHT NOW: womens/kids school spirit, boutique clothing, jeans, boots, Ugg, Lululemon, Alo, Nike, Under Armour, Free People, Umgee, Entro, THML, Chicos, Judy Blue, etc.
Things we NEVER WANT: dirty shoes, underwear, t-shirts from random events, holes, stains, unwashed items, purses with big scratches or strap damage, Walmart brands, house decor, men's clothing
Things we are NO LONGER TAKING: tank tops, summer dresses, shorts, swim
Things we are taking AFTER LABOR DAY: light sweaters, light jackets, boots, fall/winter holidays
Things we have been passing on a lot lately: Shein/Temu, flannels, shackets, skinny jeans, capris, cuffed denim, cold-shoulder tops, generic/unbranded leggings, women's dress pants, business casual "work" dresses
I always recommend TWO piles when you do a closet cleanout: one for the really good stuff that someone would actually pay money for, one for donation/Goodwill with all the junk
Remembering these things will help Taryn and myself SO much when we go through the drop-offs. PLUS- the quicker we get things processed, the quicker you have credit in your account!
